Federal law mandates that all social studies classrooms in publicly funded schools in the United States must teach a lesson on the Constitution on September 17th each year. September 17, 2007 is the 220th anniversary of the day the constitution was signed. With this in mind, part of class today was devoted to discussing Article 2: Executive Branch, and then looking at how the Constitution has changed since 9/17/1787. Classes also worked with the Bill of Rights.
