This Week in Core: May 11th - May15th
Hey all,
My computer is back up and running at 100% for the time being so I'm back to blogging about our fabulous class.
We have a lot going on this week, here is the rundown:
Social Studies:
Monday: Caribbean Culture
Tuesday: South American culture reading and notes
Wednesday: South American culture activity
Thursday: Intro to Tater Travel project
Friday: Tater Travel research day 1
Language Arts:
Monday: Creature Feature: finish drawing, discuss rhyme and rhyme scheme as well as rhythm
Tuesday: Creature Feature: finish poem, begin editing
Wednesday: Creature Feature: edit and practice final poem
Thursday: Creature Feature: dress rehearsal
Friday: Creature Feature: Presentations with Mrs. Rau's class.
Things to think about:
Days left of school (not counting weekends/holidays): 24
Days left of school (counting weekends/holidays): 1 month and 1 day
Days until the new Harry Potter 6 movie debuts: 50 days
Days until the 1st home Beaver game of the season (against Cincinnati): 3 months, 25 days
Days until the first day of of the 09-10 school year: 3 months, 28 days
