Ahoy matey's

The Under the Sea story is due on FRIDAY! Yes, this Friday. If you did not finish typing your story today in class, you will need to make an appointment to come in before or after school, or at lunch to finish. On Friday, all classes will have time in the library to change font and print stories, but there will not be any more class time devoted to typing.

Good luck!

If you have questions, please ask, either here (using the comment feature), or in class, or by email.

This Week: 10.15 - 10.19

This week in Language Arts, students are finishing their Under the Sea writing assignment. The final draft (typed) is due on Friday. Students will have time in the library on Monday and Wednesday of this week. Students that do not finish their typing on these days can get a library pass for lunch, or after school and finish their typing then, or they can finish their typing at home.

Tuesday students will receive their first book analysis review form (BARF). The BARF form is due on November 9th. Students that miss the instruction for the BARF form or who need help completing it will need to get the detailed instructions from the blog and website starting at the end of this week.

On Friday, students will receive new spelling words (test on October 30th).

Next week is a short week (no school Thursday & Friday), with conferences occurring Wednesday evening from 4:00-8:00pm and Thursday from noon-3:15pm and again 4:00-8:00pm. Conferences are not by appointment, so be prepared to wait in line to talk with teachers. Progress reports will be completed by teachers this week.

I hope that everyone had a fabulous weekend (I did, check out my pictures below).
