Chapter 1 Section 3 "Quiz" (SS)

Students started their Chapter 1 Section 3 quiz today during Social Studies. Many did not finish during class time and it is now homework. The Babylon advertisement is due on MONDAY.

Quiz:

Create a one-page travel advertisement for the city of Babylon.

a.    Include a well written paragraph that addresses these questions:

                                               i.     Why would a traveler want to make a stop there?

                                             ii.     What sights made Babylon a grand city?

                                            iii.     How does one travel to Babylon?

b.    Include a hand drawn picture of one or more site that a person would want to visit in Babylon

c.     Notes about this assignment:

                                               i.     Paragraph= minimum 6 sentences, maximum 12 sentences

                                             ii.     All text included must be neat and easy to read

                                            iii.     Picture needs to be colorful and neat (no stick figures)

                                            iv.     The assignment it due on Monday, December 14, 2015
