Chapter 1 Test: Essay Prep

Here are the essay questions that will be on the test on Thursday. You will need to answer one:

Which method that scientists use to date fossils and artifacts do you think would be the most accurate? Explain your answer. 
                                   
Why do you think that having a spoken language and the ability to pass knowledge and skills to their children was an important ability for Homo sapiens? 

Modern archaeologists make use of both hand tools and advanced scientific equipment. Why do you think both types of technology are necessary? 

What technology helped people adapt to the last Ice Age? What other skills and tools would have helped Ice Age people survive?
