Chapter 8
Stargirl has become popular by December 1st.
The entire student body adores her and begins acting like her in many ways.
Where do you stand? Have you fallen for her optimistic and carefree
personality, do you feel bitterness towards her for becoming popular by acting
weird, or somewhere in between?
Chapter 9
Do you hold back your individuality? Think about
how you act in certain environments, both places and people. Compare and
contrast your different “levels” within yourself. When do you feel most at
peace with whom you are? When do you feel like to can be yourself the most?
Chapter 10
Describe a time when you tried to do something nice
for someone else, but it backfired against you. If you cannot think of one,
instead write about a time when you unintentionally offended someone else. What
did you do? Do you think you were in the wrong?
