The week in review

What a great first week we've had!!

We began on Tuesday with locker practice, tours and getting to know you activities. On Wednesday all students read the school handbook and received a copy to keep in their binder. Thursday we played with magical words and worked in our writing notebooks for the first time and on Friday we toured the library and began our reading assessments.

Next week things will begin to pick up so relax, renew and enjoy the lovely sunny weekend!!

Harry Potter! Percy Jackson!

Hope you are enjoying your summer break! Harry Potter 6 (Half Blood Prince) arrived in theaters today and I've already seen it twice! Have you seen it yet? Did you like it? The movie was great. In addition to the awesome movie I got an extra treat because the preview for the Lightening Thief (based on the 1st book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series) was played. check it out below.
